The character of a school is shaped by many things: its educational philosophy, its leadership and its community. But place matters too.
The buildings in which children learn become part of their daily lives for many years. They influence how a school feels, how its community grows and, over time, how it becomes woven into the life of the city around it. Choosing where a school belongs is therefore one of the earliest and most important decisions in its development.
For that reason, Intellego Education and Brighton College have today confirmed the locations of their first two schools in continental Europe.
Brighton College Madrid will open on Calle Gobelas 47.
Brighton College Rome will open at Via Nomentana 236.
Both schools will welcome their first pupils in September 2027.
Each location has been selected with the same long-term perspective that underpins every Intellego school: exceptional education deserves an environment that reflects its ambition. Established neighbourhoods, strong transport connections and distinctive architectural settings provide the foundations upon which enduring school communities can grow.
As preparations continue, prospective families will have the opportunity to experience each location for themselves during Open Mornings taking place in April 2026.
Visitors will meet members of the founding leadership teams, explore the future campuses and gain an early understanding of the educational vision that will shape each school from its first day.
Like every school developed by Intellego, Brighton College Madrid and Brighton College Rome are being created with permanence in mind. The objective is not simply to open successful schools, but to establish institutions that will become lasting parts of the communities they serve for generations to come.
Further details about Brighton College Lisbon will be shared as development of the school progresses.
Families interested in Brighton College Madrid, Brighton College Rome or Brighton College Lisbon are encouraged to register their interest through the respective school websites to receive future updates.
